The Overtime Theater is a non-profit organization with the mission of “theater for the people” to the greater community through new productions and workshops in acting, playwriting, and comedy improvisation. We are dedicated to providing original, innovative, and accessible entertainment at an affordable price.
In business since 2007, The Overtime Theater produces works with an emphasis on playwrights in San Antonio and surrounding areas. Offering content that appeals to a wide variety of patrons, we specialize in world premieres of new works never before seen on stage as well as unconventional adaptations of old classics. Our shows have included everything from period pieces to absurdist drama. We produce farces, musicals, social change pieces, memoirs, dramas, dream pieces, traditional contemporary and more.
